He never tells anyone that he likes to steal a sub scooter and race madly across the reef at night. The faster he drives the more relief he feels as the vehicle finally bursts over the edge to the deep sea grave. Then he turns off the engine to fall weightlessly with the silent machine and his heartbeats.
