This piece started as a drum machine performance recorded by Erdem. Per treated that with metal guitar amplification until it grew so fat and punchy that neither of them had any clue what to do next. Finally Erdem recorded fingerpicking chords with celloguitar and that trigged the rest. Per filtered down all the metal-guitar-stack-drumming into a wet carpet and played that one by beat synced LFOs. That created enough space for Erdem to add bowed celloguitar colors. Per finally added drop-B metal guitar lines and EWI loaded with his Stratocaster/Sovtek/Marshall multi sample set.
This music comes close to making time stand still. The listening experience feels like twelve frozen milliseconds stretched all over the universe... and back again... into itself... kind of... Erdem Helvacıoğlu and Per Boysen
Fabio Anile has certain vibe to his music that I like. It is sort of "ambient" but with a razor sharp personal expression. Erdem Helvacıoğlu and Per Boysen
